Christian Luczanits, David Snellgrove Chair owner at the School of Oriental and African Studies at University of London, is the author of texts on the wall paintings at Alchi, Tabo, Tholling, Lori and other temples. The presented photographs result from 40 years lasting activities in the Himalayas by Jaroslav Poncar.
